This series incorporates the cuttlebone casting technique. The process involves melting down sterling silver scrap metal in a ceramic crucible and pouring it directly into a freshly carved design of the bone, leaving a relief of woodgrain textured silver casted piece. After casted and cleaned, I soldered a sterling earring post to the back to make it wearable. Lightweight, comfortable, and easy to wear.
